The St Felix Sports Carnival was held at the end of Term 2. It was a fantastic day filled with lots of fun! Year 2 participated in the following activities:
- potato sack race
- novelty race
- hurdles
- long jump
- shot put
- discus
Everyone also cheered on their teams during the races and yelled out their cheers with their loudest voices! Take a look at the great athletes in Year 2 below!

Dear Year Two
My favourite part of the day was the javelin throw because I pretended I was throwing a spear.
My colour team Red came second. I had lots of and its better than doing school work.

Dear Year 2,
My favourite activity was the novelty race because I came first! Another activity I really enjoyed is the hurdles because I also came first! I got 2 first ribbons! For lunch I had a ham sandwich and apple juice. I enjoyed the sports carnival because they had lots of fun activities for everyone.

My favourite part of the sport carnival is sprinting because I liked exercise. I fell over once in the potato race. Shot put wasn’t really fun because all had to do was throw. In long jump I jumped really far and I got 2.0 m. In disces I threw realy far and I got the disc in between the two poles. It was a realy fun day and I got a first ribbon and participant ribbon.
