Year 2 visited Riverside Theatre to watch a play based on the book ‘Horrible Harriet’ by Leigh Hobbs. We read the book during Shared Reading and were wondering how they would bring the story to life on stage. The play was quite different from the book and it was very funny!
Watch the video below to listen to the story again.
Take a look at us having lots of fun on our excursion in the photos below!
Watching plays are a great activity to do as a family. Click on the links below for other plays you might like to watch with your family.

Dear Year Two,
I answered the question what did you like about the production?
My favourite part is when Athol Egghead, Horrible Harriet and Mr Boggle froze in position each time the lights turned black.

Dear Year 2,
The best part of the production of Horrible Harriet was when the lights were turning on and off, this was so cool. I prefer the show much more because it was exiting and we got to get out of the classroom. There was really nothing that I didn’t about the production as it was a lot of fun to watch. If I was in charge of the production I would make it longer so the audience would be even more entertained.
Kind Regards
